Your child is welcome to wear whatever they want to Jazzie Cazzies, though we do recommend comfortable clothing that they can move around in, nothing too restrictive.
We also suggest layering up or down depending on the seasons. All of our locations have heating and cooling, but with all the grooving your child will be doing it's easy to overheat indoors and forget its freezing cold outside!
Children are also welcome to keep their shoes on or take them off, whatever they are most comfortable doing.
Regarding dressing up we encourage children to express themselves however they wish! However if your child isn't into tutus or costumes they are welcome to wear whatever comfy clothing to class.
Make sure to bring some water for your child.

There are no refunds or "discounts" offered if patrons arrive late or leave early during class.
DO I HAVE TO ENROL?
No, there is no pressure to enrol but of course if you would prefer to the option is available.
Here at Jazzie Cazzies, we understand how life with kids works and every day can be unpredictable and random!
It can be tricky to commit to something long term and make it to every session when you've got little ones.
I myself have young children and it takes a tutu and a whole lot of fru-fru to hide the frazzled state I arrive in before class too! I often joke to parents as they arrive not to stress, you all deserve a gold star just for getting out the door!
That's why we offer casual passes at a set cost that rarely changes.
But if you need something in between enrolling and attending casually, we also have the Convenience Card - a 5 class option (with a $5 discount) so you don't have to worry about bringing cash every week and also don't need to commit to a term.
CAN I BRING FOOD TO CLASS?
Most dance classes have a very strict No Food policy and adhere to the Safe Dance Practice guidelines. Our preference is that food is not consumed at Jazzie Cazzies.
The main issue is that even though our props and equipment are regularly cleaned, you'd be amazed how bits of banana, sultanas and crackers can find their way into crevices unknown!
Unfortunately this can mean things need to be replaced, so it would be awesome if you can fill those bellies before class or hold off until after.
Having said that, we also understand the challenges of dealing with under 5's and the hurdles of mealtimes.
We relate to fussy eaters, stubborn eaters, meal skippers, meal throwers, and every conceivable circumstance that may put a child in a position where they are struck with the mid-class munchies. Fret not, don't deny your child food...please feed them. Nobody wants a "Hanger" crisis to erupt!
We do ask that you have your little one chow down on the chairs provided and rejoin the group once they are done.
Parents of children with allergies are asked to read the Jazzie Cazzies Policies file kept on the sign in table in class. Parents are responsible for their own risk assessment regarding food and their child as well as any medical action plan and medications required for reactions.
PHOTOS AND VIDEO
You are welcome to photograph your children during class. We do ask that you use discretion if posting on social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc and consider other families stance on these forums.
Unfortunately there is no video allowed in a Jazzie Cazzies class. This is mainly because of Intellectual Property and privacy reasons.
Jazzie Cazzies will occasionally take photos during a class to use on our website, Facebook page and for other promotional material. We will always let you know if we are going to do this and give you the option of not having your child in the picture.
All parents must fill in the Photo/Video option on the New Attendee Form and are encouraged to read the Policies Manual located on the Sign In table.
SIBLINGS, FAMILY & FRIENDS
Jazzie Cazzies is a family friendly environment and that means everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the fun!
Siblings aged 1-5 years get a discounted rate of $10 per extra child.
If you have a baby under 12 months of course you can bring them to class! You won't be asked to wait outside or sit cramped up in the car if you have little ones in tow!
You are welcome to bring a baby rug along and set it down for some tummy time while you both enjoy the show and there is always plenty of room for prams if bub needs a nap.
Let us know if you prefer to breastfeed away from the crowd and we will endeavour to find you a private spot!
School aged children are also very welcome especially during school holidays. All we ask is that they are supervised and are cautious of the littler children.
It's no problems if they want to join in, but parents will be asked to pay the siblings fee of $10.
Friends & Family:
Here at Jazzie Cazzies we have an open door policy to all friends and family. We love it when grandparents, aunts, uncles or even family and friends from out of town come to class.
It's a lovely chance for everyone to see their special little relatives live in action, without having to wait for an annual concert or pay for a ticket!
Break time for Parents:
This is also a great opportunity for Mums and Dads to take a little time out!
If you would like to just sit quietly and observe, check your phone or just zone out, as long as you supervise your little one at all times, be our guest!
You are not expected to join in or sing along...that's what the crazy lady with the tutu is for!
ARE BOYS WELCOME?
YES!! Of course boys are welcome to Jazzie Cazzies!
Don't be put off by the name or the tutu, our program has been designed for children, not genders!
It's a great way to get your little one out of the house, moving to some fast paced action songs and most importantly...BURNING ENERGY!!
Jazzie Cazzies has always offered a program that is action packed with lots of movement, singing and dancing!
We have definitely evolved over the years and the result is a more polished session with smooth, frequent interchanges that keeps things running along and interesting.
That being said there is plenty of opportunity for children to move at their own pace and express themselves freely!
A typical Jazzie Cazzies class involves our famous Welcome song, a fun warm up, lots of props and even bubbles! All set to popular childrens music that will have everyone tapping their toes!
Most classes run for 45 minutes, however this can often be longer or shorter depending on the number of children attending as well as the general mood of the group.
Under 5's can be pretty unpredictable, one day they'll be quietly observing on your lap, the next grooving up storm! Either way every child that attends Jazzie Cazzies is given the opportunity and space to progress at his or her own pace.
We have a gentle approach and never insist a child does anything if they are not ready or do not want to. We are committed to providing a pressure free zone.
Our main aim is to encourage children to be healthy, happy and active in a positive and fun environment.
"We just LOVE Jazzie Cazzies and so do all our friends! Is such a fantastic program to do with your little ones and I would absolutely recommend it 100% to anyone. The kids just have a ball and the smiles of enjoyment and excitement on their faces are just priceless. So much fun! Thank you so much guys xx" (Kerry)
"My 2.5 year old and 1 year old LOVE Jazzie Cazzies! We have tried other types of dancing before but Jazzie Cazzies is much more age appropriate for her and incorporates all her favourite songs and nursery rhymes. From the moment she wakes up on "dancing day" she can't wait to get there!" (Ashleigh)
"My 2 1/4 year old girl just loves Jazzie Cazzies and squeals with delight when we get there. She loves all the song and the joy in her face when she dances with ribbons, pompoms and maracas. A fantastic activity to do with your little one. I would definitely recommend Jazzie Cazzies to anyone looking for something to do with their toddler." (Geraldine)
"We have only just started Jazzie Cazzies but my 2 children love it. I really joined for my little girl but my little boy can't wait to go each week either. It's a great environment for the kids to have fun and enjoy themselves with dance, music, bubbles and instruments. We love it!!" (Donna)
"I take my 2.5 yo son to Jazzie Cazzies and he absolutely loves it. It's perfect for little boys and girls who like to move and make noise! My son and his 4 yo friend dance and sing and love the instuments and ribbons. They think walking through the rainbow is just magic and love all the bubbles and Leo the Lion. Attending Jazzie Cazzies is the highligh of my son's week. This is by far the best class I have taken any of my children to. I only wish I found out about it earlier." (Rochelle)
"Jazzie Cazzies is a unique class for both boys and girls where it's all about having fun. Dance encourages rhythm, co-ordination and stimulates all areas of the brain which in the early years is invaluable and the effects last a lifetime. The team at JC's do an amazing job creating a welcoming, fun filled and entertaining class for both child and parent. The semi-structured classes allows the children to paticipate as much as they want while learning music, language, rhythm, co-ordination and most importantly having fun. The confidence the little ones get is just amazing. Our little girl and boy just love JC's. It is the highlight of their week. JC's also make music CD's which our daughter loves to play every day as she dances and sings and 'practices' her routines. The sparkle in the little ones eyes is magical and JC's does this each and every week. I would like to especially mention Candice who instructs the class, she gives of herself so much each week and the children just love her. Thank you to the team at JC's who continue to make little childrens lives magical." (Emma)
